From Japanese gyoza dumplings to chicken kebabs & lots of baking !

Why not choose KitchenJoy as a venue to give your child a hands-on, fun and educational cookery class. This can be a 121 session or with your children’s siblings or friends.

KitchenJoy also caters for teenage children leaving home for University who would like to learn some easy nutritional recipes.

The dishes will be discussed prior to the class for the individual and their dietary requirements, on what they would like to cook, as per some of the samples recipes listed below. These can be based on particular dishes they would like to create or just on baking. It does not matter if the child can cook or is a complete novice as there will be tuition and hands on help throughout the class.
Dishes can be sampled in the class and remaining dishes can be taken home.

Our hands-on children’s cookery classes at KitchenJoy’s Kitchen in Chiswick include the ingredients, food preparation and cooking equipment, and soft drinks.

Prices vary on number of children attending the class. Please enquire for weekend rates.

A 50% deposit is required to secure the date for your child’s class and the remaining balance is due 48 hours before the class commences.

Sample recipes include:

• Plant- based milk smoothie with raw cacao, nut butter, banana & blueberries

• Roasted carrot hummus with flatbreads

•  Homemade taco’s with fish/prawns or veggie fillings  

• Japanese gyoza dumplings

• Chicken kebabs marinated in yoghurt with flatbreads and veggies

•  Energy balls with lemon and walnuts

• Buckwheat pancakes with coconut yoghurt & berries

•  Banana bread

• Chocolate beetroot brownies

• Tahini chocolate chip cookies
