This personalised hand painted August birth wall art includes a name, date and the striking poppy.

Each one is painted in acrylics onto a piece of sustainably sourced birch plywood from scratch especially for you. There are no printing or tracing techniques used, so this means that each is a complete one off.

It can be hung on the wall as each one has a hanger fitted to the back or displayed on shelves or mantlepieces as it is chunky enough to stand up on its own.

As it is a personalised gift, I will fit the name in with the flowers around it. Each one will vary just slightly as names can really vary in length. If you are adding a long name I will need to reduce the size of the lettering to fit it all on.

Please add the name that you would like on the painting into the box below. Usually this is the first name and maybe a middle name if there is one. Also add the date of birth. Please type it in words rather than just the numbers. Eg; Sarah Louise   24th August 2022.

I offer free postage on orders and your painting will be sent via Royal Mail First Class Delivery. (I do not currently accept orders outside the UK , sorry)

Your order will be dispatched within 3-5 working days.

The Victorians used flowers to communicate messages. They assigned a flower to each month. Perfect for a Christening, new baby, naming ceremony gift. It is said that the characteristics of the flower can play a part in the personality of those born during that month.

The vibrant poppy represents August and very few flowers have played such an important part in mythology, and religion. The Victorians attributed many meanings to it depending on its colour. It has been said to symbolise restful sleep and recovery, extravagance, and imagination.

I also offer this item framed - in a simple unglazed white wood profile. You may prefer this as it gives the artwork a contemporary style and adds to the aesthetic of the finished artwork. Simply select this through the options menu when placing your order.
Unframed size; The wood used for the unframed print is 17.5cm x 17.5cm and is 1.5cm thick
Framed size; Once framed the overall size of the artwork is 22cm x 22cm x 3.5cm.
